ASV Inventions and KTM Juniors: A Family Affair Shaping the Next Generation
The KTM Juniors program has long been recognized as a family-centered gateway into the world of professional racing, and for many families, it represents more than just a lap on the track — it’s a defining experience. For ASV Inventions owner Bob Morales and his son Dane, participation in the program back in 2013 became a milestone moment that still resonates today.
“The experience was amazing,” Morales said. “The program has helped springboard so many young athletes. It’s truly inspiring.”
Morales sees the program as a natural extension of ASV Inventions’ mission. Known for its commitment to innovation and youth development in motorsports, the company embraces the KTM Juniors initiative by being the official lever sponsor is as a way to invest directly in the future of the sport.
“ASV Inventions has always been about shaping the future,” Morales explained. “The KTM Juniors program is a way we can give back. Watching these young athletes is what we’re all about.”
Morales emphasizes that his family’s story is just one of many that highlight the impact of the program. Seeing longtime friend Tony Alessi participate for a third time underscores the importance of keeping the tradition alive.
Over the years, the KTM JUNIOR SUPERCROSS Program has become a cornerstone of Supercross events nationwide. According to Dave Prater, Vice President of Supercross Operations at FELD Entertainment Motorsports, the initiative continues to play a vital role both on and off the track.
“Over the past decade, the KTM JUNIOR SUPERCROSS Program has become an integral part of each Supercross event,” Prater said. “The program provides an exciting and entertaining element for our Supercross audience, but more importantly, it serves as a shining example of the positive role that motorcycling plays as a family activity. To see the joy on the faces of both the competitors and the fans is rewarding, and our company is proud to be able to work with KTM to continue to promote this positive example of our sport.”
For families like the Morales’, the KTM Juniors program is more than a race — it’s a shared experience that strengthens community, builds confidence, and inspires the next generation of riders.
