ASV Inventions Privateer Spotlight: Brandon Ray Shines at A1

Anaheim, CA — ASV Inventions’ Privateer Spotlight rider Brandon Ray rolled into Anaheim 1 with momentum, grit, and a whole lot to prove—plus a new addition to his pit crew on the way. With a newborn due soon, the Supercross paddock might need to start calling him “Daddy Ray.”

Ray, a long-time Supercross prospect, is finally seeing the pieces come together. After making 250SX Main Event in 2025 at the Seattle Supercross as a true privateer, Ray has carried that confidence straight into the 2026 season—giving fans plenty to be excited about.

The opening round of the Supercross season delivered plenty of action, and B-Ray delivered right back. Qualifying 20th overall, Ray earned a spot in the Night Show and wasn’t done yet. In a stacked 250 West division, he charged to a 9th-place finish in his heat race, transferring directly to the Main Event.

Fist pumps, a massive whip over the finish line, and pure emotion summed up the moment. What made it even more impressive? Ray accomplished it all as a privateer on a stock bike, which he picked up just two days before Anaheim 1, after unloading from a U-Haul truck. If that wasn’t a statement performance, it was at least a warning shot.

Was this a coming-out party for the young ripper? Only time will tell—Supercross is a grind—but the signs are promising.

Brandon Ray currently competes under The Privateer Paddock, a 100% free race program designed to provide privateers with the resources they need to break into the Supercross scene. The program focuses on giving young athletes the tools, support, and structure required to reach the next level.

As a proud sponsor of The Privateer Paddock, ASV Inventions created the ASV Privateer Spotlight, offering additional support to standout privateers. Ray fit that vision perfectly.

“Our roots are in racing, and giving back to the motocross community isn’t optional—it’s a moral obligation,” said Bob Morales, owner of ASV Inventions. “We’re a tight-knit group at ASV, and we consider our athletes family. Helping young riders like Brandon is exactly what this program is about.”

With speed, determination, and now fatherhood on the horizon, Brandon Ray’s journey is just getting started.
