MotoConcepts Racing Goes Back-to-Back at FIM North America Arenacross Championships

Guthrie, Oklahoma — The 2025–26 season of the FIM North America Arenacross Championships wrapped up in Guthrie, Oklahoma, closing out a season filled with intense battles and compelling storylines. When the dust settled, MotoConcepts Racing (MCR) stood on top once again, securing back-to-back championships in dominant fashion.

Following Vince Friese’s 2024–25 championship run, Ryan Breece carried the momentum forward by capturing the 2025–26 title — marking consecutive championships for the MCR program.

Two Alphas. One Standard.

MCR Team Principal Tony Alessi has been vocal about his philosophy over the past two seasons: put “two dogs in the fight” every round. The strategy is simple — no favorites, no hierarchy — just two elite competitors pushing each other to win.

“Championships are won with strong personalities and strong talent. If you create the right environment, clear goals, and mutual respect, two alphas can push each other instead of pulling each other apart. The competition inside the truck is part of why we’ve been successful,” said Alessi.

This season, Breece lined up alongside Austin Politelli, a proven contender capable of running at the front any given night. The pairing embodied Alessi’s “two alphas” blueprint, creating one of the most competitive and driven environments in the paddock.

Despite fierce opposition from rival teams — and intense internal competition — Breece rose to the occasion. After finishing second overall the past two seasons, he finally clinched the elusive championship title.

“Well earned! Still have things to accomplish within my career, but this scratched a goal off the list,” said Breece when asked what it felt like to finally hold the championship trophy overhead.

Building a Dynasty

Going back-to-back is no small feat in professional Arenacross — a discipline known for tight racing, high pressure, and razor-thin margins.

“Going back-to-back feels incredible,” Alessi said. “Championships are never easy, and repeating proves this team has real depth and determination. I’m proud of Ryan, Austin, and everyone at MotoConcepts Racing — the riders, the crew, and the people behind the scenes who put in the work every day. It shows what we’re building is consistent, and we’re just getting started.”

With consecutive titles secured and a culture built on internal competition and mutual respect, MotoConcepts Racing continues to establish itself as a powerhouse within the Arenacross ranks.

If the past two seasons are any indication, the 2026–27 season promises even more intensity as fans eagerly await the upcoming rider lineup and the next chapter in MCR’s championship pursuit.
