WLTN Kawasaki Captures Historic 450 National Pro Title
Walton, ON – In front of a roaring hometown crowd, WLTN Kawasaki’s Phil Nicoletti delivered a career-defining ride, securing second overall on the day and clinching the 2025 450 National Pro Championship — the first in team history.
Riding with precision and purpose in both motos, Nicoletti defended his slim points lead to seal the title on Canadian motocross’ biggest stage.
"It’s hard to describe what this means to me," said Nicoletti. "I’ve had a long career, and this is a hard championship to win. I’m really happy for this entire team. We’re not the biggest operation out here, but we grew so tight down the stretch and got this done together. I’m so proud."
In the 250 class, Dylan Walsh electrified fans with a hard-charging performance, slicing through the field in both motos to score 4-4 finishes for 4th overall. His relentless pace and aggressive style were a fitting close to a determined, hard-fought season.
The combined efforts of Nicoletti, Walsh, and rookie Bobby Gravel propelled WLTN Kawasaki to third overall in the 2025 Constructors Championship — a milestone achievement for the Walton-based team.
"This is a dream come true for our whole crew," said Melody Hodgson of WLTN Kawasaki. "To win a national championship here at home, in front of our fans, friends, and family — it’s a moment we’ll never forget. Our team fought hard all year, and this proves what we can do."
