ISRT Kawasaki "Freddie On The Mend For Detroit"
ISRT Kawasaki Race Team Round 6 Recap – Monster Energy Supercross at Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan
Round 6 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship took place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, where the ISRT Kawasaki Race Team saw mixed results but continues to make progress as the season unfolds. With Freddie Noren sitting out once again to ensure his shoulder is fully ready, Logan Leitzel and Bubba Pauli stepped up for the team.
Logan Leitzel – #208: Logan filled in for Freddie Noren for the second week in a row, and although it wasn’t the result he may have been hoping for, there were still notable positives. He qualified in P28 overall, and in Heat 1, Logan made a solid start, slotting into P6 at the hole shot line. However, a tough first lap saw him drop back to P11, and despite some solid racing, he ultimately finished 14th. In the LCQ, Leitzel was in the mix early, coming through the first turn in 5th, but a stacked field and a challenging race saw him finish 9th. All things considered, still impressive for Leitzel to hop on a new bike and get consistent results which show his determination and progress.
Bubba Pauli – #282: Bubba had his second-best qualifying performance of the season, landing in P34 overall. There’s no doubt that Bubba is getting more consistent and improving each week. In Heat 1, he made a strong start, crossing the holeshot line in P12. Unfortunately, A first lap crash would move him back to P20 before making a solid sprint to finish 16th. In the LCQ, Pauli switched roles from his heat race Starting in P16, he fought his way forward and crossed the line in 12th. His consistency is improving, and while still working toward better results, Bubba is steadily finding his rhythm.
Looking Ahead: Arlington, Texas As we head into the next round in Arlington, Texas, we’re looking forward to the return of Freddie Noren. After taking the necessary time off to recover, Freddie is ready to make his full return to racing. We’re hopeful that he’ll come back strong and continue to contribute to the team’s overall growth as the season moves forward. The ISRT Kawasaki Race Team continues to push through the challenges of the season, learning from each round and focusing on steady progress. We look forward to seeing what the next few rounds bring and are excited for Freddie’s return to action. Stay tuned for more updates as we head into Arlington!
