F3 Series Sport Brake Lever # BRF311

Many people say “I don’t usually write reviews…” and then continue to write a review. I am the opposite: I write reviews on everything. I would give my 2-cents on bandaids, if I could. BUT…this review is one of the view where I felt I HAD to write one or else I’d be doing you all a DISSERVICE. I’ve been running those off-brand levers on my 2019 ZX6r (you know the ones you can get on a certain website for $40 for the pair). Well, I recently purchased both ASV brake and clutch levers. Let me give you a visual - imagine you were on a rollercoaster and that metal bar comes down that secured you over the shoulders. Now imagine you grab on to those bars for support and they start shaking and rattling in your hands. This was me every time I reached for the brake or clutch. Imagine you’re getting ready for a shower and you’re adjusting your dial to find the right water temperature. Imagine you turn the hot water dial a few degrees and all of a sudden your water is scalding hot. Imagine you turn it back to make it colder, and it doesn’t do a darn thing to the water temp. That was how precise (or lack of precise) my brake lever was. Immediately when I put the ASV levers on, the rattling and shaking stopped. My clutch pull was smoother. Easier. My gear shifts - crisper than freshly ironed linens. My brake lever had real progression and feel. Felt like I installed a racing brake setup on my bike compared to those off-brand two-for-one levers. Get these levers. If you are running those fake levers, do yourself and your future generations a favor - don’t put your life in the hands of cheaply made $10 pieces of low-grade scrap metal levers. Invest in something that allows you ride your bike the way it was meant to be ridden. Feel your bike in its full potential. Unhindered and unrestricted from the grasps of cheap consumerism. Bathe in the glory that is the ASV lever.

The feel is great better than stock brake lever . The gross finishing is beautiful

Bought as a 2023 zx6r but fits 2024 zx6r. Not a complaint but personal preference, I like the brake light to engage without the brake ls applying so I groove the ASV block that contacts the brake switch a few millimeters so the brake light comes on with less travel

Functionality and feel are great; 4 stars because the finish had some defects (lever discoloration and some surface imperfection); maybe it was the unit I got.

If you want the most ergonomic and precise control of your motorcycle, then you need ASV levers...Period!...
