Susan G. Komen: More Than Pink

Newport Beach, CA – September 27th

Susan G. Komen is a global foundation focused on discovering information to fight against breast cancer. To date, the Susan G. Komen Foundation has invested $3.6 Billion in research, community outreach, and programs. Thanks to the foundation 29 new drugs were made possible to fight against breast cancer due to the Komen fundraisers. All of this is made possible with the help of supporters.

But behind every statistic is a story. Breast cancer awareness is about more than the color pink. It’s personal, emotional, and deeply connected to the people we love, support, and stand beside. That’s what made participating in the Susan G. Komen 5K Walk so meaningful to me.

Being surrounded by thousands of people who came together for the same cause was powerful in itself. Some were there to celebrate survivors, others to honor loved ones who lost their battle, and many were there to support the ongoing search for a cure. Each person had their own story, but together, we shared a common purpose.

For me, attending the 5K was a reminder that showing up matters. Whether you are walking, donating, volunteering, or simply helping bring awareness to someone’s story, every effort can make a difference.

I was especially proud to attend this event on behalf of ASV Inventions. It was important to me to show that our commitment to the cause extends beyond words. Throughout the month of October, ASV Inventions will be donating 10% of the proceeds from all pink products to Susan G. Komen.

This is our way of turning awareness into action and giving our customers an opportunity to join us in supporting an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

Standing among the crowd, I realized that the color pink represents so much more than a product color. It represents strength, hope, courage, support, and the countless people whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

I’m grateful that ASV Inventions can play a small part in that effort. Together, through awareness, action, and community, we can help make a difference.
