DOES NOT FIT WITH STOCK HAND GUARDS ON KTM 690 / HUSQVARNA 701 APPLICATIONS

ASV levers are larger than stock levers and will interfere with the stock hand guards on KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 applications.  We recommend swapping to Barkbusters, Acerbis or any other wrap around style hand guards.

    The brake lever is a perfect fit, although it is necessary to remove the (OEM) handguards in order to install the brake lever, the handguards cannot be reinstalled. If you wish to retain handguards on your bike, you will need to purchase aftermarket ones. Personally, I prefer riding without handguards, so this posed no issue for me. I find the appearance of a bike without handguards more my style. To enhance protection and cover the openings at the end of the handlebars, I purchased handlebar end slider caps. Overall, I am super happy with this brake Lever.
