Clake SLR Left Hand Rear Brake One-Finger Control System to work with Brembo Clutch Master Cylinders
The Clake SLR is a hand-operated rear brake, commonly also called a left hand rear brake (LHRB), specifically designed for motorbike use. It is not a rebadged bicycle system, and offers far better ergonomics, much more power and better feel than any other separate master cylinder system on the market. It also allows room for most stock switch blocks and is the most compact system available.
The Clake SLR will fit any bike running a Brembo PS10 clutch master cylinder – this includes most models of KTM, Beta, Husqvarna, Husaberg, GasGas, TM, Triumph, Ducati and many others. It is suitable for bikes with standard clutches and especially those fitted with auto-clutches such as the Rekluse. The ASV special edition has a FIM race legal ball-ended lever and a decent sized fluid reservoir so that you don’t need to top it up as the pads wear.
The Clake SLR is manufactured by Clake Australia to maintain the strictest quality control, and major components are CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum, including the lever which pivots on high quality sealed ball bearings. The lever is possibly one of the most unbreakable on the market due to its flexible design, and it can be easily adjusted for reach and folds out to prevent breakage.
You can retain your rear brake pedal if you wish buy ordering a Dual Control kit for the Clake SLR. This is sold separately. You also have the option of swapping the lever functions (with the use of the optional hose kit) to have the SLR lever operate the clutch and the Brembo lever actuate the rear brake.

- Brake line cables and banjo bolts. You will need to find a longer rear brake cable and banjo bolt from a brake line manufacture. We recommend Gbrakes USA.

This system does not include the hydraulic brake line required to operate the rear hand brake. Because there are so many options for different bikes and they way you can route the line, it is best to order a custom hydraulic brake line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it take long to adapt to the Clake SLR?
Riders who have ridden a bicycle before usually adapt immediately to the rear brake. Others say they have needed several hours to adapt.
Can I use the Clake SLR in conjunction with the clutch?
The ergonomics allow a rider to simply move one finger between the clutch lever and the brake lever as needed. Some riders do choose to have one finger on each lever to operate both at the same time, and the Clake SLR was designed to make this possible.
Will the Clake SLR lock up the rear wheel if needed?
Yes. A common complaint with some LHRB systems is the lack of braking power but the Clake SLR uses a decent-sized master cylinder and optimized leverage to allow locking up the rear wheel as needed.
Is the Clake SLR easily damaged?
No but a good pair of bark busters is recommended. The system is very compact so unlikely to sustain an impact. The lever is extremely flexible and possibly the most unbreakable lever on the market.
Can I transfer the Clake SLR to other bikes?
Yes, as long as it has a Brembo PS10 clutch master cylinder which is used on most European dirt bikes.
I have small hands, will the Clake SLR work for me?
Yes, it only requires undoing one bolt to adjust the lever to exactly where it suits you.
Is the Clake SLR difficult to fit?
A basic knowledge of how to bleed a brake system is all you need to know. Patience is required as the bleeding process can take longer to fully remove air from the system.
